Shiver Security Systems has acquired the electronic security customers from Anderson Security & Fire Systems in Dayton, Ohio. The acquisition was announced by Chip Shiver, Sr., President & Owner of Shiver Security Systems.

With the acquisition of Anderson electronic security customers Shiver Security customers now number over 6,500, which includes third party monitoring for several Sonitrol franchises outside the state of Ohio.

The acquisition has made it necessary to increase the number of employees. An additional 4 to 6 operators and service staff will be needed.

Robert A. Anderson, Chairman of Anderson Security & Fire Systems, explained "Anderson decided to divest itself of the electronic security business so that we could concentrate more on our other divisions of guard service and investigative background searches. The selection of Shiver Security Systems was made, because they have been a trusted name in the security industry throughout southern Ohio and are equipped with the latest state of the art equipment and monitoring facilities."

Chip Shiver, Sr., added "The Anderson customers are a valuable addition to our company. We are committed to providing our customers the support, service, training, and quality installation of all equipment along with local monitoring services and 24 hour service to all our customers."
