Shiver Security Systems, Inc., has acquired the electronic security customers from Cin/Data Protection Corp. of Cincinnati, Ohio.  The acquisition was announced by Raymond A. (Chip) Shiver, Sr., President & Owner of Shiver Security Systems, Inc.

Donald Bake, President & Owner of Cin/Data Protection Corp. stated "Both Cin/Data and Shiver Security Systems have been stable and reputable business entities in Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky for over 40 years.  Many of our customers have been with Cin/Data for over 20 years and deserve to have an ethical and dedicated company to provide their security needs.  Shiver Security Systems has been a trusted name in the security industry and are equipped with the latest state of the art equipment and local monitoring facilities."

With the acquisition of Cin/Data Protection Corp. electronic security customers Shiver Security customers now number over 7,000 that includes third party monitoring for several Sonitrol franchises outside the State of Ohio.

The employees of Cin/Data Protection Corp. have joined the staff of Shiver Security Systems.  In addition to these employees an additional 4 operators and service staff have been hired.
