On Tuesday 3/23/10 the David Hirschberg Steel Company was broken into at approximately 11:20pm...

The thieves broke into a window located in the offices even though we take extra precaution by putting guarding over the office windows, this didn't stop them, they were armed with tools to get by the guarding break a window and get into the office area.

Our place of business is protected by Sonitrol and a camera surveillance system installed by Midwest Design Computers. With the help of both these systems the break in was immediately discovered by Sonitrol and the call was placed to the police and one of the owners within minutes.

Because the camera surveillance system is designed to monitor online from home, during the time the thieves were on the property the owner watching from home was able to communicate to Sonitrol just where they were located on the property and that information was relayed to the police making the capture of the thieves go very smooth while keeping our local police officers a little safer in the process.

I have been at Grace Baptist Church for 44 + years.  Many years ago we had problems with our church sound system being stolen every time we turned around.  We sought out Sonitrol and had it installed.  Our equipment has not been stolen since.  Then a few weeks back we had an intruder break a back Sunday School Classroom window and get into our church.
